Aerial view of Cape Juby

In 1925's french aviators were opening the aerial routes of Western Africa. The route was Toulouse, Casablanca, Dakar. Cape Juby known today as Tarfaya was a post of the Latecoere Compagnie stablished close to a Spaniard Fort... In this area with bright sands Antoine has to deal with the hursh heat, flight the mail and encounter with the moors that many times shoot the airplanes thinking they were evil birds of man and then he had to rescued the pilots... In this location in a small cabin, sorrounded by boxes and metal barrels, and inspired by all the experiences he had in this post and the desert, Antoine write his first book "Southern Mail".   In this book Antoine write A612 as the code of the airplane of the main character, but when The Little Prince start coming to life that would be the inspiration for the name of his home, the asteroid B612.
